Catching Up With Conall Jones

Posted 22 07 2022 by webadmin

We thought it was high time that we caught up with our Building Surveyor, Conall, who has some exciting news - and not just about structural defect warranties or building surveys!

Conall qualified as a building surveyor back in 2014 and has been working with us here at Global Home Warranties since 2019 and today, is celebrating his third anniversary with Global.  He hails from the beautiful county of Fermanagh, and is a very familiar face with clients in Northern Ireland but he is known for much more than his fabulous surveying skills.

Conall plays for Derrygonnelly Harps and this year, the team went all the way to the prestigious Ulster Clubs Final against Kilcoo.  The match was highly contested especially in the first half but sadly, Kilcoo scooped the trophy from the Harps on this occasion. He finished the season as the Top scorer in the Ulster Club. Not being a man who rests on his laurels, as the season at Harps finished, Conall moved to play for the Fermanagh Senior team at County level.  It's no surprise that they were keen to have Conall on the team.

In between all of these sporting commitments, Conall found time to make another one. A big one! He popped the question – yes, “THE” question, to his fiancé Caoimhe of 12 years and she said yes!

In the midst of planning a wedding, county training, matches at the weekend and his full time Surveying job, what else could he possibly squeeze in?

Well, we are delighted to announce that Conall recently qualified as a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. Another absolutely fantastic achievement.

Managing Surveyor, Maurice Johnston commented, “Conall looks after our clients in the West area and delivers a fantastic level of expertise, technical advice and customer service.  Conall’s recent RICS qualification comes from hard work and commitment and we are very proud of his achievement.  It’s the same hard work and commitment that he applies to his sporting life and it’s very clear to see Conall’s success in that area!  Last, but by no means least, myself and the Global team want to congratulate Conall and Caoimhe on their engagement and wish them both health and happiness for their future together.”
