Global are proud to announce that we have been awarded ISO9001 Quality Management certification and ISO14001 Environmental Management certification.

The International Standard for Quality Management is the world’s most recognized quality management system.  It is considered a mark of trust, high standards and quality. The ISO9001 Certification places focus on principles of quality management systems across a number of key business areas:

Client Satisfaction – Delivering a high quality client service that is reliable and consistently meets customer requirements.
Operating Processes – Continual review of processes and implementation of efficiencies to drive continual improvement.
Legal Compliance – Consistency in practices and processes that adhere to regulations for our clients.
Risk Management – Improved risk management with increased transparency of services.
Improved Stakeholder Relationships – Consistency in processes which improve relationships with clients, supply chain and internal stakeholders.

Quality and client satisfaction is at the core of everything that we do at Global and we constantly evolve to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers.  This quality mark demonstrates our commitment to meet and exceed the needs of our customers through an effective, consistent quality management system.

Kathy McKenna, Managing Director said, “Global work with Housebuilders, Developers and Housing Associations right across the UK.  We strive to continually improve what we do across our business to ensure our clients receive the absolute best in client experience.  Our ISO9001 accreditation demonstrates our dedication to delivering excellence and offering added peace of mind for our customers, our supply and our team.”
Global decided to take the step of seeking an additional certification relating to the Environment.

The ISO14001 Environmental Management Standard challenges and encourages businesses to operate within a framework of sustainability.  It looks at key elements such as:

Environmental Policy – Our commitment to pollution prevention and continually improving how we deliver on environmental objectives.
Legal Requirements – Maintaining environmental laws and building our EMS to support legal compliance in this area.
Environmental Aspects – Understanding how we positively, or negatively, process interaction with the environment.  Adapting our practices and processes where necessary to deliver improvements

Kathy continues, “We work with construction, an industry where there is an urgent need to reduce carbon emissions and develop innovative, sustainable solutions to meet ambitious net zero objectives.  We take our environment responsibilities very seriously.  We want to be at the forefront of promoting sustainability - doing whatever we can to reduce our impact on the environment.  We have already taken considerable steps in our business to reduce our carbon footprint and we are committed to continuing to find new, innovative ways of operating and maintaining environmentally sustainable practices. We are confident that this will be of huge benefit to both our clients, and our environment going forward.”
